The Everton Imperium encompasses six inhabited star systems. Five of these systems (Seamag, Frigida, Volcaneum, Sombry, and Ignead) have a planet and a deep space habitat. The remaining system (Everton) has only deep space habitats.
Seamag is the most productive system in the Everton Imperium. It is a water world where most of the agriculture in the Imperium is carried out. All of this farming is done on floating or underwater facilities. The cities of Seamag are built on huge floating platforms or under pressure domes at the bottom of the ocean.
Minerals are difficult to reach on Seamag so the deep space habitat Fourta was constructed in the system's asteroid belt for mining.
Frigida was the first world to be colonized by the Everton Imperium. It is an ice world that produces the fusion fuels necessary to keep the Imperium running. It is self sufficient because of fish and hydroponic farms in the ocean below its frozen exterior. The population centers on Frigida are constructed within huge caverns in the ice crust.
The deep space habitat of Doublo is a massive solar collector with the rotating cylindrical living area attached to its shadowed side. Doublo provides additional power to Frigida via a system of microwave relay satellites.
The surface of Volcaneum is covered with active shield volcanoes that constantly spew toxic gasses into the atmosphere. The reason that anyone would want to live on such an awful planet is that it is a bountiful source of light metals. There is no stable land on Volcaneum, so helium bags and huge fans hold the cities in the air.
Sixar orbits a gas giant in the Volcaneum system. It mines the gasses needed for breathing and supporting the cities on Volcaneum. This deep space habitat is the common ring-shaped design.
A recently concluded deal with the Codoj Empire will see the state-ship Shtushaze enter orbit of Volcaneum. The Shtushaze will provide food and other biological products to Volcaneum in return for raw materials.
Few people would consider Sombry to be of any value at all. It is a cold, arid, ball of rock at the outer edge of its solar system. What those people do not recognize is the precious metal resources available on the unpleasant planet. Sombry is also a marvelous place for astronomical studies because of its scant atmosphere. Sombry was originally founded as a prison colony. The cities of Sombry are cramped warrens dug into the ubiquitous rock.
Fiven is the deep space habitat in the Sombry system. It is a solar station identical to Doublo, except that its satellite relay chain is much longer.
Ignead is the heavy metal capital of the Imperium. Its surface is covered with ranges of granite mountains that provide the safest mining environment in the whole Imperium. The cities of Ignead are built on and in the mountains surrounding the arable plains. Ignead is the most enjoyable planet to spend time on after Seamag. It is known for its great skiing conditions. The unusual fauna of Ignead has also made it the primary source of computer chips in the Everton Imperium due to bountiful silicon supplies.
Many gasses are needed to cut through the hard rock. To this end, the deep space habitat of Tritium was established in orbit around one of the system's gas giants. Sixar was built later on an identical ring-shaped plan.
The Everton System is the capital of the Everton Imperium. It originally contained a planet named Everton, which was covered in deciduous and coniferous forests. Tragically, Everton was destroyed when its planetary Singularity Powercore suffered a containment failure that was traced back to the experimental artificial intelligence that operated the plant. This event led to the banning of Singularity Powercores from planetary use and the licensing and prejudice against all artificial intelligences. The region that used to hold Everton is now known as Area 15 and contains the black hole that ate the planet.
The remaining inhabited object in the Everton system is the deep space habitat of Ona. It is composed of inter-linked asteroids and was founded as a mining base. It is now the administrative center of the Imperium. The Everton Imperium's main shipyards are in the asteroids around Ona.
