The Everton Imperium Military

The Everton Imperium's military is composed of three arms: Navy, Army, and Starfighter Corps. It is commanded by Tomaz Giol and Mathias Kubinyetz.

Starships and Starfighters use Singularity Powercores, which contain a small Black Hole, and are driven by Gravatic Drives, Fusion Rockets, or Magnetoplasma Rockets. Faster-than-Light travel is accomplished with a Borer, which allows the ship to enter a sublayer of reality that allows much higher speeds without inertia. Ground vehicles use Fusion Generators, because Singularity Powercores are forbidden from planetary use, and generally ride upon air cushions, with a few exceptions.New applications are being explored for archaic Fission Pile technology including a power/self-destruct package in RMLs and RLTs and the NERVA in the FBM.

The weapons used in the military are standardized across the three arms.
Railguns come in small (pistols), medium (infantry support), and large (vehicle guns).
Rapid Fire Lasers (RFL) come in small (infantry support), medium (vehicle guns), and large (heavy artillery).
Fusion Cannons fire superheated plasma and are considered heavy artillery.
Gravatic Projectors are not used on ground vehicles and cause localized gravity increases.
Fusion Missiles are kinetic kill vehicle-mounted weapons and come in long-range (LR-FM) and short-range (SR-FM) types. LRs have electromagnetic pulse secondary warheads and gravity tracking guidance. SRs have fragmentation secondary warheads and infrared guidance.
Space Cruise Missiles (SCM) have a common fuselage and come in three types with different payloads and engines.
1.Remote Missile Launchers (RML) have their own Fission Pile and Magnetoplasma Rocket and contain eight Fusion Missiles.
2.Remote Laser Turrets (RLT) also have their own Fission Pile and Magnetoplasma Rocket and are armed with a single Large RFL.
3.Fusion Bombardment Missiles (FBM) have use the self-destruct of their Fission Pile in their NERVA to initiate a fusion explosion.
Point Defence Turrets (PD Turrets) combine two Medium RFLs, two SR-FM-7 Pods (7 missiles each), and a targeting system with 180 degree coverage to create a nearly impentrable defensive perimeter.
The most devastating weapon in the Everton Imperium's military is the Singularity Missile. These are driven by the same Singularity Powercores and Gravatic Drives as Starfighters and are only equipped to the Everton Shark. Just after impacting their target, Singularity Missiles release the Black Hole within their Powercore, which consumes the target. Singularity Missiles can destroy entire planets.

Army

The Everton Imperium's Army is the least powerful of its armed forces. The best defenses are built in depth, so the Emperors past thought it best to spend money on the Navy and Starfighter Corps because those could be used further from the planets.

The Army is organized into three sections: Armour, Infantry, and Support. Armour is composed of Titans, Heavy Tanks, Medium Tanks, and Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) and is organized into groups of five vehicles, known as Fists. Infantry units are called Hands and contain ten men wearing powered armour. Support units are also organized into Fists, but can be artillery Transporters, Remote Combat Aircraft (RCAs), or Helicopters. All vehicles except the RCA are powered by Fusion Generators providing electricity to electric motors. All vehicles except Titans, Transporters, Powered Armour and Helicopters use these motors to power air cushions.

The following are the specifics of each Army weapon system.

Powered Armour is designed to make one soldier a threat to many enemies. It provides 5 hours of air and 10 hours of power. It is armed with a Medium Railgun and a launcher for single encapsulated SR-FMs. Its electric motors power the joints to make it faster and stronger than any human.

Armoured Personnel Carrier carries one Hand into battle. It has its own Medium RFL on a turret. It has a crew of 2.

Transporter moves the heavy artillery of the Everton Imperium's Army. For direct fire they can be armed with 4 Large RFLs or a Fusion Cannon. For indirect fire 6 LR-FM-4 Launchers (4 missiles per launcher) or 6 SR-FM-19 Pods (19 missiles per pod) can be equipped. Transporters have tracked chassis, because air cushions aren't stable enough for artillery operations. Their 4 man crews consider themselves elite.

Medium Tank has 2 Medium RFLs and 2 SR-FM-19 Pods (19 missiles each) on a central turret. It is controlled by 2 men.

Heavy Tank mounts a Large Railgun, a co-axial Small RFL, and 2 LR-FM-4 Launchers (4 missiles each) on its massive turret. 3 men direct this behemoth.

Helicopter uses its electric motors to drive an upward-facing main rotor and a rearward-pointing tail rotor, which is mounted inside a ringtail. It also has two straight wings, which makes it a compound helicopter. It is always armed with a nose-mounted Medium RFL and can carry one of two payloads. The first is a troop compartment with room for a full Hand. The second is a weapons pod with 8 LR-FM (two racks of 4), 2 SR-FM-19 Pods (19 missiles each), and additional Fusion Generator so that the Medium RFL can fire faster without degrading aircraft performance. It has a two-man crew of Starfighter pilots-in-training.

Titan is the shock unit of the Everton Imperium. It is a 26 meter tall assault android driven by one man from a cockpit in the head. The Titan's weapons include a Large RFL and Fusion Cannon on each arm and two LR-FM-8 Launchers (8 rounds each) on its back, all in modular weapon mounts for quick replacement. It can conduct re-entry on its own using folding wings and a Jet Engine. A Fusion Generator supplies power for the weapons and joint actuators.

Remote Combat Aircraft (RCAs) are used to support Titan assaults. They have no onboard pilot and are powered by a single Jet Engine. The RCA is a forward-swept flying wing and carries a Medium RFL, 2 LR-FMs, and 2 SR-FM-19 Pods (19 missiles each).

Starfighter Corps

Starfighters are the most nimble ships in the Everton Imperium. Their cocky pilots take great pride in knowing that Starfighters are also the least armoured ships in the Everton Imperium. These pilots push the envelope of Human endurance every time they go into battle in their speedy vessels.

Starfighters operate in support of Flotilla operations and are too small to carry their own Borer. The most recent models of Starfighter have modular engine bays to allow different engine and generator configurations to be installed based on the operating requirements (like levelling). Current engine configurations include Singulartiy Powercore/Gravatic Drive and Fusion Generator/Magnetoplasma Rocket.

The following is a description of each type of Starfighter currently in use in the Everton Imperium.

Interceptor Mk.2 has a 1-man crew. It has a fuselage composed of two end-to-end cones with three forward-sweeping wings at 120-degree intervals around it. Between vertical upper wing and the two lower wings are one boxy pojections on each side containing 1 SR-FM-19 Pods. Medium RFLs are mounted one to a wingtip. Between the two lower wings are four hardpoints for external carriage of LR-FMs (up to 8) or SCMs (up to 2). The Mk.1 was a chevron-shaped flying wing with one SR-FM-19 Pod on either side of the cockpit and Medium RFLs in the nose and wingtips.

Attacker Mk.2 carries a 2-man crew of a pilot and gunner in tandem on the dorsal surface of its disk-shaped fuselage. The gunner fires the main weapon and 2 LR-FM-4 Launchers (4 each). The main weapon is contained in a modular mount on the ventral surface. Modules so far designed include a Gravatic Pojector, Twin Heavy RFLs, and a two-round SCM Launcher. There are four external hardpoints to either side of the main weapon for carriage of SR-FM-19 Pods (up to 8), LR-FMs (up to 16), or SCMs (up to 4). The Mk.1 had a fixed Gravatic Projector main weapon in the ventral surface of its flattened-hexagonal hull and 2 LR-FM-4 Launchers

Combat Shuttle has a crew of 2. It carries one Fist from orbit to surface for battle. It is the single least glamorous job in the whole military. The Combat Shuttle is armed with 1 Twin Medium Turret (ventral) and 4 SR-FM-19 Pods (front fire arc) with which to defend itself and clear its landing zone. The ban on planetary use of Singularity Powercores caused the retirement of all Combat Shuttles equipped with them. Thus, all Combat Shuttles have Fusion Generators and Fusion Rockets.

Navy

The Everton Imperium's Navy makes use of three sizes of starship: Corvettes (100-200m), Destroyers (200-400m), and Cruisers (400-800m). The only exception is the Everton Shark, which is 5000m long. The basic organizational unit of the Navy is the Flotilla. Flotillas contain one Cruiser, two Destroyers, and four Corvettes. Recent design projects have yielded a new backup engine system (Fusion Generator/Magnetoplasma Rocket), and the new Plasma Shield technology that have been fitted to the entire Navy. Each of the individual designs of starship is covered in the following section.

Firestorm Destroyer has 6 Gravatic Projectors (1 front, 1 back, 2 left, and 2 right), 4 Fusion Cannons (2 left and 2 right), 40 LR-FM Vertical Launch Cells (dorsal, 8 missiles per cell), 6 PD Turrets (3 dorsal, 3 ventral). Firestorms carry an Army contingent of 5 Heavy Tanks, 10 APCs, 100 Infantry, and 3 Combat Shuttles.

Thunderbolt Assault Destroyer has 6 Gravatic Projectors (1 front, 1 back, 2 left, and 2 right), 4 Fusion Cannons (2 left and 2 right), 2 FBM Factory/Launchers (dorsal), 6 PD Turrets (3 dorsal, 3 ventral). Thunderbolts are a modification of the Firestorm destroyer and carry 10 Titans and 15 RCAs for planetary assaults.

Slayer Cruiser Equipped with 24 Gravatic Projectors (4 front, 4 back, 8 left, and 8 right), 12 Fusion Cannons (2 front, 2 back, 4 left, and 4 right), and 22 PD Turrets (6 dorsal, 6 ventral, 2 front, 2 back, 3 left, and 3 right). Slayers carry 15 Heavy Tanks, 10 Medium Tanks, 30 APCs, 5 Transporters, 300 Infantry, and 12 Combat Shuttles in the ventral Shuttle bay. 30 Interceptors and 20 Attackers are carried in the forward Starfighter bay.

Crusader Cruiser Equipped with 24 Gravatic Projectors (4 front, 4 back, 8 left, and 8 right), 12 Fusion Cannons (2 front, 2 back, 4 left, and 4 right), 22 PD Turrets (6 dorsal, 6 ventral, 2 front, 2 back, 3 left, and 3 right), and 4 SCM-8 Launchers (8 missiles each, usually FBMs). Crusaders are an improvement of the Slayer design and carry 15 Heavy Tanks, 10 Medium Tanks, 30 APCs, 5 Transporters, 300 Infantry, and 12 Combat Shuttles in the ventral Shuttle bay. 30 Interceptors and 20 Attackers are carried in the forward Starfighter bay.

Overlord Mk.2 Support Cruiser has 10 Gravatic Projectors (2 front, 2 back, 3 left, and 3 right), 10 Fusion Cannons (2 front, 2 back, 3 left, and 3 right), 12 PD Turrets (4 dorsal, 4 ventral, 2 front, and 2 back), 4 SCM Factory/Launchers (ventral, capable of building and launching all SCM models). All Overlords are being, or have been upgraded to the Mk.2 standard. Overlords are intended to support fleet actions employing at least two Flotillas. As such, they carry 60 Interceptors, 40 Attackers, and 20 Combat Shuttles. Their Army contingent is identical to the Slayer.

Everton Shark is the command vessel of the Everton Imperium's Navy. Coincidentally, the Everton Shark is shaped like a 5km long shark.
It is equipped with a Combat Array that can attack vessels on the front, left, or right fire arcs and is equivalent to 500 Gravatic Projectors and 250 Fusion Cannons firing simultaneously. 250 PD Turrets stud its heavily armoured surface and create a nearly impenetrable sphere of laser fire. The pectoral fins each contain 150 forward firing LR Fusion Missile Launchers, 5 Factory/Launchers for RMLs, and 5 Factory/Launchers for RLTs (300, 10, and 10 in total). The dorsal fin contains 5 Factory/Launchers for the dreaded Singularity Missile.
It houses 150 Interceptors, 50 Attackers, and 80 Combat Shuttles. Its army contingent is 10 times the size of a Slayer Cruiser's.
